Last night saw the launch of FEC UK’s latest development take place. After more than three years of planning and collaboration, Aspen at Consort Place is now ready for buyers to choose from one of the 495 design-led apartments, sitting in the heart of Canary Wharf. We marked this exciting milestone last night, on the 39thfloor of Canary Wharf’s Novotel, surrounded by colleagues, local community leaders, buyers and investors – all excited to see the interactive model replica of the project for the first time and eager to see the development’s cutting edge design.
It is anticipated that once complete, Aspen at Consort Place will become the third tallest residential tower in Canary Wharf. Although this is a flattering personal accolade for the team, the vision behind Aspen at Consort Place has always been more important than lofty superlatives. What actually makes this project personally exciting, is the opportunity that this development will provide for the local community and those wanting to enjoy the best of living and working in one of the world’s greatest capitals.
We have always been focused on ensuring that Aspen at Consort Place has a vibrant and dynamic soul. We have never lost sight of our intention to create a distinctive area which preserves the character and legacy of this part of East London, yet also creating a twenty-first century destination, filled with amenities and services that will genuinely help people go-about their daily lives. That is why I’m especially proud to say that within the public realm of Consort Place, there will be an education facility, a number of family-friendly play areas for a range of different aged children, as well as a wealth of choice of cafes, restaurants – and of course, the famous North Pole public house which will be restored and remain a key feature for the wider community.
Within the 65 storey Aspen tower, we are putting every comfort and consideration into the experience of living at this address. Residents will have access to the Aspen Club, featuring a wellness centre, and restaurant, as well as executive facilities. We are looking to create homes which allows those living here to seamlessly blend their work and home lives, to respond to the evolving ways that we are living in the 21st century, in a global city. I’m also delighted that Aspen at Consort Place will offer an upscale four-star Dorsett hotel sitting within the Aspen tower. As such, it’s a huge source of pride to know that we are able to bring the very best of FEC’s experience and expertise together in this project.
Last night was no doubt a highlight; feedback so far has been very encouraging and sales positive.
